It's a fucking tablet/laptop you'll never use more than 8GB. If you try to, you'll be limited by the overheating and throttling anyway.
8gb ram should be more than enough for a tablet. I upgraded my main rig just recently to be able to run a game while running a VM with more than 2gb ram. Shouldn't be the average workload for a windows tablet.
