As NVIDIA won the market for GPUs?

As Nvidia currently dominated the GPU market? Why AMD does not seem to be as relevant as in the past? The answer is not cut and dry, and there is some history to reach where we are today, but here are some of the highlights of a long series of losses AMD were wins for Nvidia.
