So recently I picked up learning Python as it seems to be recommended quite a bit.

I've worked through the codecademy courses, "how to learn python the hard way" and "automate the boring stuff with python", and am currently working through brainteasers/code challenges on codewars... This is all fun and great but where can I find some beginner projects that I can work on? How can I apply this practically? Should I pick up a framework like Django/Flask/Pyramid, which seems like a very popular choice for people learning Python?

Guess I'd just like some advice regarding where my understanding of Python can be practically applied and hear about experiences from folks here on /g/ that've had a similar dilemma.
