Depends on the area and if your neighbours use it. Most folks are on adsl2+ though, and seem to have 0 idea cable is even an option. I'm on 100mbps cable (with telstra) and i typically pull full speed all the time (108-115 on speedtest), worst case is around 7MB/s (though may have just been download server). If you're thinking of going optus they offer unlimited quota on cable, 100mbps speeds too. Not sure how their overall network compares to telstra though.

My computer randomly loses sound or its replaced with a long, endless beep. If im watching a video the video starts speeding up awkwardly. Putting it into sleep mode and waking it up makes a POP sound and then it's fixed.

In my experience, most enterprises use windows, at least on the frontend so knowing windows is almost required. Also, most enterprises won't even let you near their backend without a useless degree in IT or at least taking them on a couple dates. Get your foot in the door at a help desk and move up from there. If you land a job a chill place, you can probably work on a degree at the same time and possibly get tuition reimbursement.

I decided to buy this case after seeing it on sale(was going to get a NZXT Phantom). After a month found out it has a common problem with air flow. I thought about it and wants to cut out a vent pattern in the front panel since the fans are right behind it and the current vent is a 15"X1" vent that really throttles it, reason why it has bad air flow in the first place.

I just don't get it, and hadn't noticed it until I looked up a table of the Ipv6 address space on IANA.
well I know that a unique-local is one in the fc00::/7 address space and that a link-local is in the fe80::/10.
But why is it not the same ?
A link is a subnet in IPv6 right ? and the purpose of the unique-local address (fc00::/7) is the same as the private addressing in IPv4, right ?
Cisco explains that every device needs a link-local address, and if it is not manually given it will be created automatically.

Link local addresses are used in one single network segment, they can't be routed. Unique local addresses can be routed, but only within one routing domain. So an ISP can choose to use ULA for services which can't be publicly accessible.

Unfortunately it's the S340 which has mountings for only two hdd's (hotswap). More unfortunate is that I have a WD Black which is known to have higher temps than your average hdd. I'm thinking just putting a 12cm fan in there would be a good idea and reduce temps by some 5C at least.

My torrent clients can't connect to certain (multiple, but not all) trackers.
