need help /g
since the last time i cleaned up my cpu because it was heating up like crazy (according to speccy, i didn't notice any actual heat) it hasn't stopped to heat up, reaching up to crazy temperatures like 105°c (according again to speccy), but the problem is that now i actually feel the hot air coming out of the cpu fan and even the case has started to heat up, and not only that but its performance has dropped inmensly.
any ideas why?

install more fans.
first things first. check if the cooler makes good contact. then change the thermal paste. then if all else fails get more fans. this is an old machine. if the cooler has never been removed to change paste it probably is dry as bones right now
also use a proper program like speedfan or realtemp. never ever trust speccy , it can be wildly inaccurate.

it didn't need any more fans until i cleaned up, that's the problem.
