Samsung announces 512 GB NVMe ssd that's smaller than a stamp.
Samsung today announced that mass production has begun on a new NVMe PCIe solid state drive in a ball grid array package, the first of its kind to be available in large quantities. The SSD, called the PM971-NVMe, is tiny, merging all SSD components into a package that's smaller than a standard U.S. postage stamp.
Designed for next-generation PCs and ultra-slim notebooks, the PM971-NVMe measures in at 20mm x 16mm x 1.5mm and weighs approximately a gram. Its volume is about a hundredth of a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD, and it offers performance able to surpass a SATA 6Gb/s interface with sequential read/write speeds of up to 1500MB/s and 900MB/s, respectively.

Intel Announces Xeon E3-1500 v5: Iris Pro and eDRAM for Streaming Video
The rise of video stream services, especially live services, has accelerated the need for dynamic and on-the-fly conversion of video content and the infrastructure to do so. Moving from HD to FHD and 4K as well as 360-degree video requires a lot of immediate compute power in order to keep up with the event being filmed, as well as keeping enough quality in tow to maintain the user experience. Traditionally there are three ways to do this: raw CPU horsepower, FPGAs, custom fixed-function ASICs, or GPUs. In line with this, Intel is releasing their new E3-1500 v5 series of processors with a primary focus on Intel Quick Sync. These are Skylake based CPUs, using four cores with hyperthreading, but are backed with Iris Pro graphics with the 72 execution units available and a redesigned embedded DRAM to accelerate computation over the previous generation.
These fit between Intel’s E3-1200 v5 Xeon processors, which are standard Skylake based Xeons up to four cores, and Intel’s E5-1600/2600 v4 Broadwell-based Xeons with up to 22 cores in a single socket:

Digital Storm Announces The Aura 34” All-in-One Featuring A 10-Core i7-6950X and GTX 1080 GPU
There were several manufacturers showing off the 34-inch all-in-one gaming system at CES, and the curved display makes for a commanding view. The widescreen display features a 3440x1440 21:9 panel with a slight radius to it. As mentioned, this is a common design from several manufacturers, with Digital Storm being the first to market (or at least the first to my inbox) with the latest and greatest Broadwell-E and GTX 1080 cards.
If you don’t want to go quite that crazy, Digital Storm offers a lot of customization on the device with processors from the Core i5-6500 through Core i7-6700K Skylake parts, or if you need more cores, substitute in some E Series for up to 10 cores plus HyperThreading. On the graphics side, you can opt to just use integrated graphics, or anything from a GTX 950 to the GTX 1080. The all-in-one can be configured with up to 32 GB of DDR4, and there are plenty of storage options including spinning disk and M.2 PCI-E storage.
Cooling is always going to be an issue with you pack this much power into a small space, so Aura features liquid cooling for the CPU, and the graphics card blower exhausts hot air out of the display bezel, which should be ideal for expelling the waste heat from the GPU.
The Aura is available now starting at $1999.

Intel Computex keynote confirms Kaby Lake and Optane for 2016
Intel's Computex presentation this morning covered a lot of topics, from the Internet of Things and 5G, to machine learning and VR. We'll talk about some of the other bits in due time, but the news of greatest interest to TR readers is no doubt the confirmation that the 7th generation "Kaby Lake" Core processors and Optane solid-state disks will be launching this year. Those new products made up the bulk of Intel's announcements today, along with the Broadwell-E chips that Jeff wrote about this morning and the low-power Apollo Lake platform.
Optane is Intel's branding for solid-state disks using the new 3D XPoint memory technology. 3D XPoint—which is pronounced "cross point"—technology purportedly represents a generational leap over existing NAND flash memory in terms of both density and performance. Intel demonstrated 3D Xpoint by performing an offline 3D render using Houdini on two computers, one of which was equipped with an Intel 750 Series SSD, and the other with an Optane prototype. The machine with the 750 series SSD completed the render in slightly over 25 hours, but the Optane-equipped machine finished in just nine.

Hey bitch nig at least post the one with cooler temps on it

Optane sounds awesome, but sounds like it'll have an awesomely large price/GB.

But that one doesn't show the SSD temps.
AMD’s live stream from Computex 2016 will be starting in a matter of a few hours and will appear on this page as soon as it is made available to us. The press has already been briefed about the new Polaris GPU lineup, namely the RX 480 series, and it is expected that the company will reveal some details about the same here. AMD is also expected to talk about their next generation of APU code-named Bristol Ridge, featuring Excavator cores, on the brand new AM4 platform

AMD has Zen ready for demo
Multiple independent sources have confirmed that AMD has Zen x86 prototype chips ready for demonstration, and we might see them during the Computex 2016 press conference in Taiwan.
The Zen processor will officially arrive at a later date, toward the later part of the year at the earliest, and it should be competitive in lots of different ways.
AMD was always saying the company would launch the Zen processor before the end of 2016, but this was the best case scenario.
We have heard that Zen performance should be competitive with Intel's high-end desktop (HEDT) Broadwell-E lineup, but it is not clear how good the processors are going to be.
AMD won’t share much about the performance of these parts, since it still has Bristol Ridge, a mainstream part that is already live at the company’s website and marketed as a 7th generation APU series.
