I recently bought a pair of Philips Fidelio X2s and I've been enjoying them but recently I started noticing weird volume issues when listening to music from Spotify. I listen to a lot of tropical house and I noticed that when the beat drops the volume goes down considerably. Could someone go listen to "ID - Ultra Music Festival Anthem" by Kygo on desktop Spotify and tell me if the volume drops at 2:12 compared to the rest of the song because it's annoying the shit out of me.
Every fucking time the beat drops the volume lowers this is actually infuriating

If it isn't the mix, that sounds like some kind of DSP. Make sure you have no sound "enchacing" features enabled from your sound card's driver suite and nothing from Spotify either. Can't test that for you atm.

Yeah. It's actually amazing, I have it turned on 99% of the time. Perfect for movies and a few games.
