my dad gave them to me a few years ago, some guy gave them to him.
I figured some /g/ flyboy could give an idea or tell something other than specs about them.
my dad thought i could turn them into franken headphones(for music) but i feel like i could do better. I thought i might be able to put a 3.5mm jack adapter on it then attach to a radio. Also ear protection at the range.

Yeah those are real. You could probably fetch some amount of money for them. As for sound quality, my experience with them has been completely lackluster. They're made for communicating with air traffic control and pilots, not for hi-fi music playback.
