I have. I turned off all the privacy stuff in the settings and used ultimate windows tweaker to turn off other privacy stuff. I also use startisback. I find that for me it works just fine. One thing that drives me insane though is how the details pane in file explorer is on the side and not the bottom though.

I've used ubuntu for the last 4 or 5 years. Switched back to Windows this year. I enjoy 10. I went from XP to Ubuntu, so I never really got to experience 7 or 8.

I really wish windows stopped forcing their shitty app store and gizmos and gadgets on us and just released an updated Windows 7. I don't want Cortana, I don't want apps, I don't want metro, I don't want a dumbed down OS that doesn't even let me choose whether or not to install a certain update.
