If you use strlen as a hash then A equals B.
A more realistic example would be that strlen equals strcat.

A hash is making a number out of basically anything in a way, that it is extremely unlikely that two hashes are made from two different inputs. So you can easily check if two objects are different by comparing their hashes. Strlen says how long a string is. For 'hello' it would be 5. For 'gaben' it would be 5 too. See the problem?
