instead install ubuntu gnome and turn it into a nice little work computer.
Turn it into a server
buy some sub $50 video card on ebay and a new power supply and sell it online as being a great gaming machine.

can you be more specific, I already use my other computer for all my work
>>54795279
A server that does what exactly. I'm not interested in making a web server. I can't think of anything else to host.

How more specific can it get? work computer. Hell honestly I don't give two fucks if you use it for porn you asked for my suggestion I gave it to you you little shit,

>those are all shit!
what the fuck are you expecting, suggestions on how to turn it into some kind of magical flying machine?
it's a computer, it does computer shit, what would you do with a computer if you had one?
>>54795650
None of them were shit, I was just hoping people would be a little less general than make a server/do work. Also why are you asking me what to do? I'm the one asking everyone else. I clearly have no clue.

God, /g/, you are all retarded children.
OP, my current project is a very similar HP Pavilion tower. Plop an SSD and a 4TB hard drive into it, and use it as a torrent server to keep the load off of your main machine. Another thing I like doing with mine is using it as a backup location for my Google Drive storage (I have a terabyte). You might also get away with using it to serve media via Plex. At the very least, get Kodi on a set-top box (or phone+Chromecast) and point it at a network share on that machine.
