Play games on Linux (dwarf fortress, 0AD, xonotic are all exceptional), have Windows as a vm for gaymen, or pick up some other hobbies. Reading, exercise, learning an instrument. 3-4 hours of vidya probably isn't good anyway. 1-2 hours is good, and then the other hours developing other interests.

Well, if you don't already exercise regularly, it's a good habbit to get into. Other than that, something completely different from your normal interests would be good. Pick up an instrument or chess or something.
Have two builds: one gaming build for Windows and one desktop build for Linux. It sounds expensive but it isn't really. The Linux components will last for several years, and you'll have to upgrade the parts from your gaming box every 2 years anyway. So your Linux box gets the hand me downs from the gaming box.

start building a productive routine, get into fitness, that will help in all aspects of life. Whether it's running, lifting weights, sport or whatever, at least be active. Also, read 30-1hr a day before sleeping. Also focus on studies or work. Then you can game when you have free time. Gaming is fine as long as you do it in moderation and don't slack on other productive things.

Use PlayonLinux, it will install the required libraries and dependencies. I have played LoL on Ubuntu 15.10 for a few months, works perfectly with only a font issue in store.
You get an fps drop but if you have a medium range GPU it is not a problem. I actually managed to hit 58fps on my Intel HD 4000.

Dota 2 runs natively on Linux because of Steam. Most steam games run natively and have openGL support you can add in the startup command line.
