I'm a gentoo linux user but one thing I'm envious of bsd is the userspace is built with the kernel, and not tacked on like the GNU userspace.
The only reason I use linux over bsd is better driver availability.
Only virgin neckbeards would use it.

Same here except I use Gentoo for Portage. If I'm not mistaken I think Portage is available for BSD now though. I also like the Gentoo community more than the BSD community.

I actually use it because it had drivers for my laptop while Linux didn't. Turned out I liked it so now I use it on a bunch of computers. Nice projecting though, you sound like a great person.

Actually Gentoo supports using a BSD kernel. Its shit though so nobody does.
