>use cheap as fuck parts for maximum profit
>poor build quality
>use massive battery to offset inefficiency of cheap parts
>battery takes up space which should be used for the cooling system
>everything soldered on so no servicing
>power button built into keyboard, one drop of liquid on your "z" key can literally kill your laptop. t. Rossman
>manages to throttle even with 2 fans and an aluminum chassis
>every model has one major flaw (hinge screwed onto the screen instead of chassis, GPUs frying themselves, 800mhz throttling, one port, backlight randomly dying)
Who would even think this piece of shit is a well designed professional laptop? OSx is even officially worse than w10 now.
How can anyone take apple seriously?
They're even worse now that Steve Jobs is gone.

That SP3's got some impressive battery life for a 40whr battery. Literally 60% less battery capacity, but almost same battery life. Shame about the keyboard though.
>mfw ms btfos applel at their own game
>>54760685
It'll be a hassle when out, but at home you could always use a wireless k/m like the logitech mk220.
I haven't used the sp3 keyboard though to personally testify how shit it is, but I'm sure it's not unusable, Good enough for casual typing I bet

But it pretty much is
At least win 10 has ltsb

It works with the SP4 keyboard and that has been praised in reviews being better than the majority of actual laptop keyboards out there. Not quite Thinkpad but almost there.
>>54760417
I don't know why people bother buying laptops other than the xps 13.
>ideapad 100s
>every review commends it on having a good keyboard
>specs great for web browsing and typing up documents
>costs one tenth the amount of the macbook air
>even more portable than a macbook
Based Lenovo.

XPS 13 is nice, but for me it was overkill. My dad got me an asus transformer with baytrail and 2GB ram for my birthday and it's been perfect so far. I already have a desktop for any demanding tasks.

Asus has released the successor to the X205, it's called the Vivobook E200. Gets 13 hours easy on a charge. Cheap as fuck as well, $219AUD on special last week.
>>54761061
I'd get it, but I'm still really satisfied with my t100ta.
Type up notes at uni, easily lasts a day without needing to charge, but charge it when I can anyways.
Undock it so it's a tablet, and watch videos and shit on the way home. Got a cheap 128GB SD card for storage and it's the best laptop I've ever used.
Only issue is slow charging speed because micro USB. But the good battery life more than makes up for it. Especially since I can also charge it from a power bank.
