Absolutely not. C# is way better. More functionality built in, less verbose, way more flexible. Why on earth would you use C if you don't need to absolutely maximise performance
Duck typing, eval functions, mock objects, more easily facilitated generic programming, metaprogramming, etc.
It's like the difference between Doppler radar and looking out the window; both have merits.
