Not emo, just days I work I don't get home till late. Easier on the eyes if I have something dark instead of bright white blaring at me

AFAIK the only thing it does is phone Google every time someone installs it.
I don't know what to tell you.
I used chrome for a long ass time. Really long. Many, many years. But recently, I don't know why, the smoothscroll extension stopped being so smooth, was kind of clunky. I suspect this has something to do with the bullshit smooth scrolling feature Chrome includes, which is shit.
That also happened as I tried OSX for the first time with a trackpad. Which made something like Safari real smooth, but lacking on features.
Then back at windows, I tried Opera as well and it was the same slow bullshit. So I tried firefox, that thing that I avoided for many, many years because everytime I tried it was slower or had problems with youtube and so on, is actually fucking smooth. It's more than pleasant. Bonus points because somehow on linux I can't get Chrome to not produce tearing, with any DE, drivers, graphics server, compositing manager, I tried everything under the sun. But Firefox is fine. The fire fucker, is fine.
So now I keep this. I wish it had a better UI though. But I'm not complaining because Chrome was also shit on that aspect.
