have there ever been practical ways to make gawd awful gaymer shit into something useful?

i.e. this new faggot mouse. could an led screen on your mouse offer any benefits to computing at all?

aside from that LED screen being absolutely useless, this mouse is actually pretty great. the sidebutton placement is a lot more accessible than the previous iteration, the entire mouse comes apart relatively easily, the cable is removable, colors are customizable as well as able to be toggled, and the thing even has haptic feedback for games. sensor is using is also godtier. that is pretty fucking great for a hundred bucks.

Swappable sensor and changing the top plate sound more interesting to me. The cable is removable, and I like that a lot.

to be fair to them. they know that their target audience is kids and middle aged men that dont know any better. I doubt anyone at their company would actually want that on their own mouse.

Swappable sensor and backplate I can understand, but the OLED module I cannot. This is making the Logitech and Razer 'gaming' mouse such as the Mamba and G900 look sensible in comparison.

Steelseries claim that it's got haptic feedback over the backplate.
