Yes, it's the Micke desk from Ikea. And no, the legs have to be on the sides they are on. The holes are drilled in the side panels so that the legs have to connect that way to the drawer. Although I think if you didnt install the drawer and cable management thing, you could install them the other way around.

I ordered cable management things to stick under my desk on March 24th and still haven't got them (lol) and also have certain cables that aren't long enough to be routed under my desk and sort of have to be visible and just sit there taut. I'll probably buy some extensions for what I need, and once I do that and have the route things under my desk it should look nice.

Well I can only work on one setup at a time obviously but I do use all the screens I have on each setup. I can only look at one screen at a time but it still improves my "productivity". I get very efficent at mindlessly browsing through files, watching videos or just reading shit up online. I always have a video or music running on the side or on top. I always have some program open.
I have a hard time focusing on one thing only, I always switch between things and more monitors made it so much better.

I'm always getting suspicious glances at work because I'll have multiple programs open at once. Job center, job ticket board, new webpage, music playing are usually all open at once and sometimes I'll be drawing. Focussing on one thing is possible, but it's better to split my attention so I can jump between activites.

Hey guys, I have an old laptop pretty much identical to the one in the picture attached and was wanting to get some form of linux on it. It has about 500mb approx RAM so it'll have to be something light.
Also another caveat to this is that it has no wifi capabilities so I tried rigging it to my router with an ethernet cable only to find interfag explorer was so out of date it couldn't open the ubuntu website to just download ubuntu straight onto it. Help appreciated on how to get me up and running please!!

Myself, I have an old SD64, A RetroReplay with rr-net-exansion and a 1541u2. The latter also has support for a USB2Ethernet-dongle, but it doesn't have rr-net support.
Browsing the web on the C64 is a fun experience, but you should try telnetting some BBSes, that is almost magical and really give that old "local" community feeling.
I've been trying to find a new Competition Pro because my old ones (three of them) are all falling apart. Where did you get yours?

I can buy a better pc with the same amount of money, first of all that MB doesn't fit the entire PC (If that's even considered a PC), and the ventilator is a low-cost insult. The only good thing you have there is the 960 (for a low-quality/medium station) and the i7.
