Linux had no drivers for my laptop's pen digitizer, just the touchscreen. I run OpenBSD because it's got drivers for both

yes, thinkpad ypga 14 touch screen works great

only problem is that the trackpad doesnt disable upon yoga mode like it does in windows

I've used Gnome, MATE, and Chromium OS. Touch screen functionality works great on all, but I never touch type so I cant help you out there
