I currently have an nvidia and just did a factory reset, and still get this fucking shit
I uninstalled the ATI Catalyst Center and this keeps popping up everytime I boot up.

Use Display Driver Uninstaller to make sure all the AMD shit is gone.
Maybe use CCLeaner to clean the registry afterwards.

Did you actually reinstall windows or did you use HP's backup image? It looks like you did the latter and it's installing the old ATI drivers automatically.

You should also check to see whether your motherboard will let you unlock the other two cores on that 840T. It probably won't being an HP one, but it can't hurt to look.
