I really like the Z5 compact. Had it since November and it still rocks.
Only problem is that it does indeed get warm when under load. I have no idea why it can't dissipate the heat in a better fashion but whatever.
All in all, I can highly recommend it.

Honestly, go for a z3c. It's half the price and essentially the same phone.

For 400 euroritos you can buy a really nice laptop. You'll be way more productive on a laptop than on a phone.

We all know you never leave your momma's basement, but let's pretend you want to be productive whilst sitting in the tube on your daily commute. The underground is one of the few corner cases where a laptop "doesn't cut it".
Let's assume you spend a lot of time there.
Well, a small-to-medium sized tablet would serve you better.
