Went to Paris one, computer at the hotel lobby had a Azerty keyboard, i think they use it in 2 or 3 more countries than that. Other than regionals (chinese, japanese, arabic, etc) is indeed a meme.

French anon here. I agree, Azerty is the worst, and even the worst for French (compared to bepo and all). Qwerty master race, especially for programming. Y'a know, doing shift+[ instead of Alt-Gr + 4

Dvorak is easy on the fingers. It's just that most keyboards ship in qwerty by default.
