Hey /g/
Is there a discernible difference between 4k x 1440 x 1080 ? Does 4k make THAT much of a difference to 1440 and 1440 to 1080?
Fucking retard.
In terms of actual workspace? Yes.
Thing is most people just scale it so at best everything is just sharper.
4k is 4 1080p screens in one

are you retarded?

the difference between 2megapixel image vs 8megapixel image

Does the text on your phone look sharper than the text on your monitor? If not, then you are probably blind.
With a 23 inch screen I don't think it makes much of a difference. 27 inch is good for 1440p. Not sure about 4k.

stop shitposting 4K is more than double the pixels of 1440p

This. My next monitor purchase will likely be 4k 40 just so I can replace my current set up.
Im using an old 1080+old 720+some random 4:3 monitor.
Power savings + it acting as a secondary tv will be nice.

For actual work realestate probably around 40" for 4k unless you want your eyes to hurt.
