Me still rocking a phenom ii x4 oc to 4ghz, a gtx 760,4 GB RAM and a 1080p 60hz monitor.
Should Zen,Polaris,Pascal make me break the bank or upgrading basically became a meme ?

Are you me? Exact same build doing me just fine.
The few games (aoe2, quack live and insurgency) I play run fine already but being able to play the newest shit on super ultra settings might be nice.
Answer to the question: just wait and see. Personally I think so.
Also running an X4 965. Was playing Fallout 4 recently and some other stuff well enough to get by. I've gone this long, no problem waiting a bit longer. I'd really like to support AMD because competition is good, but I wouldn't have an issue settling for Intel if they fuck up yet again.

What was so disappointing about bulldozer? It was a heavily multithreaded architecture.
It actually does better now that programs are more multithreaded
