Is it possible to make a botnet out of smartphones?
What you think Google and Apple are doing?

They give out free services to the masses, just because they are good guys. They're basically paying from their pockets so that you can have the best email, search and cloud services.

Thanks for saying something so obvious
But aside from the built-in spyware functionality Android and iOS are really locked-down. Zero days are very rare, and idk if it's even possible at all to make a successful Android or iOS worm.
Making a closed source app Trojan, though, is a different story heh

Sure, that's the motive..
Not the fact that selling your info makes way more money than selling the services ever would!
I put a trojan in one of Google Play stire apps. My buddy is a trusted developer who actually doesnt need the app sales since he started a successful non-tech business. I asked him to do it for the lulz before he gets out of the game.
Yeah, its a closed source app. I've been ddosing csgo servers. Try and guess which app it is.
