Why is there no perfect x99 motherboard? Everywhere I look, every board I find has issues.
ASRock - Unreliable, causes fires
ASUS - Secure boot, I'd rather die
EVGA - No PS/2, no deal
MSI - MSI
Are there really no honest and pure x99 motherboards that have zero, or at least very few issues?
Gigabyte?

Plagued by phantom issues. Every gigabyte motherboard has more negative reviews than positive ones, and the problems all vary wildly from person to person. Which sucks, because gigabyte is usually a good middle-of-the-road brand.

There's new ones coming out soon. I've been awaiting broadwelle and looking at all the current offers of x99 and like you say the majority look no good.

The main one I wanted was a gigabyte on but it had a bunch of problems and got discontinued.

Didn't know broadwell-e was going to use 2011-v3, super stoked for another round of x99 boards now!
99 = problems
that wasn't too hard, was it?
