Qt creator 4 released yesterday.
It's top notch for debugging (the niggers that use linux at valve use and recommend it).

>Valve made VOGL that nobody cares about using qt creator
>suddenly all niggers at valve recommend it
Do you have any links that support idea of Valve extensively using qt creator? Or, for that matter, that qt creator is "top notch" for debugging?
>>54564017
On Linux I am sure it is good but on Windows why would you use this over Visual Studio Community?

They teach to debug using qt creator, I very much doubt they use it in production. Or, put another way, I doubt anyone would use qt creator in serious enterprise environment.

they state they use it
watch the fucking video you nigger
>>54564405
Yeah, whatever, somebody in MS uses emacs for shopping list, so what? If Valve made HL3 or some major project with it then you could brag about it.
>watch the fucking video you nigger
some other day, don't want to watch pointless drivel about qt creator for dummies.
>>54564489
nigga you got rekt, back to a chinkshit thread with your ass
>>54564489
did a qt creator user murder your parents?
>>54564618
No, I had problems with somebody claiming it's "top notch" at anything and that "valve use and recommend it". In reality it is a so-so IDE geared towards QT with no special features that make it better than any other IDE.
>>54564017
I already use it but fuck, they introduce new bugs every major release. I use it for non-qt makefile projects and with qt creator 4.0 the "Edit files" menu doesn't apply the file filters correctly.
What the fuck.
>>54564819
so you basically use it as a text editor if you dont do Qt and use make over qmake/qbs?
>>54564286
Why would you even use Windows for development in the first place?
>>54565066
no, it still provides me with autocompletion, static analysis and debugging features
>>54565066
its a great debugger if you're on linux
>>54565199
Because Windows is the best platform for development.
QtCreator is a wonderful C++ IDE. I prefer using vim & gdb myself, but that's not for everyone.
>>54565701
Damn prajeet you are making use of every single chance you get
>>54565199
I use it because the job paid more for a windows dev than a linux dev so I did that.
No thanks, I like my emacs.
