+ has green led that's always lit, neat enough.
- It extends out too far for most devices, especially phones (pic)
- It doesnt snap so well, often gets a lil bit stuck on this position (pic)
- It can short out data to ground, and send +5V over the data pins while you try to get it in there (possibly damaging)
I bought a Secrid-looking wallet off of aliexpress (the RFID metal one with cards sliding out and a leather case). At 16€, it is a good deal (since a real one costs 50). The mechanism can be a bit finicky in how you put your cards in and the leather feels a little soft/thin, however it looks great and has worked well for me over the past 2 weeks. You can fit maybe 4 cards if you have metal credit cards like me, but you could cram a few more in.

Teclast Kindow arrived. Screen is a Samsung 1440x1080 panel and it's actually pretty good, sharp af at 7 inches. the bezels are big compared to the promo images but this is par for the course for Teclast, and helps with usability slightly since you can actually hold the thing without brushing the side of the touchscreen. The touchscreen response itself is fine. It dual boots Android 4.4 (no 3735 drivers for lollipop yet) and Wangblows 10. Unfortunately, since there's only 32gb of memory available to both partitions you're left with 5.7 (!) Gb of usable space in the windows partition.

A guy asked how it runs; whether it amplifies the signal.
It does, very well. After setup through the app, the repeater assumes the name of the main router and adds a suffix, but the password is the same.
There is obviously a speed discrepancy w/ router but it's slight (no stats; based on usage). It powers through usb, powering this to a main is possible and I've used the rii's usb male to female to connect it to an outlet rather than a computer.
Range is amazing. With thick walls, this shit's amazing.
Overall, I'm extremely happy eith the device and it has definately saved me some money. I could've bought a repeater locally or take this general's advice and "just buy a xi router", but clearly there was no need.
