Is there a site, service, or app that keeps track of your interests for you? Like you give it the bands, authors, game devs, directors, actors, etc you like and then you get alerted when they release a new album, new book, new film, or new game?
You could do it with google alerts but then you'd have to sort through all the press shit like tours, previews, etc when you really just want to know when there's new content.

Then again, 4chan is pretty good with notifying me of things that I'm interested in anyway. It's practically become the only website I go to, for news, entertainment, porn, conversation, anything really.

I'm not a user of either site but wouldn't that also give you a lot of useless alerts like "Book signing in Venezuela on april 16th!" and "New Fallout 4 footage shown at E3!"
