That was kind of expecting. However, what if it was non functional to begin with? I'm not talking about destroying a perfectly good commodore. Not like I'd ever go through the trouble anyways. I was just curious.

If they're dead, go for it. Someone will have to gut a working system to get new parts for it anyway, might as well sell the working parts off to someone and keep two working boxes alive.
If it's working? Please don't. It's easy enough to find busted up stuff, and most of the gear people on /g/ want to destroy is usually very interesting or beautiful works of engineering that collectors and hobbyists will value just as it is.
Plus old, working examples of many things nice looking or not are going to get harder and harder to find, and very expensive.

Yeah that was kind of my thought process. I'd like to be a collector if I could afford it myself. It would be kinda cool to stick something like an am1 system into a commodore shell if you could get keyboard working though.
