Finally got my Wintel Pro CX-W8.
They had wrong barcode scanned on post office, and that's why it never showed as "ready to pickup" on tracking.

Tiny thing, about 20cm at most. Dirt cheap too - 11$. Got an FM Radio mode.
The chinky voice actually speaks good English which was a pleasant surprise. Surprisingly good bass for something so small, though overall it can't get too loud.

I got my Rock zircons today.
I had Piston 3 Youth edition before. I liked the sound quality but the build quality was trash, and I'm pretty sure a contact failed somewhere, because the right piece sometimes drops in volume.
The Zircons have much better build quality. The braided cable is nice, but I'm a bit disappointed that it only goes halfway and not the entire way to the earphone.
The plug seems really well made. The earphones look solid and the tips are pretty nice, 3 sizes included of course. Sadly I don't get as nice a fit with them as I did with my Pistons.
Sound-wise, they're really good. Noticeably better than the Pistons, and a bit better than my $30 Sennheiser earphones. Quite balanced sound, not overly bassy. Very clear.
I'm no audiophile, but those are probably as good as I could ask for.
All in all I'm really happy with them, just the cable from the middle to the earbuds could be a little flimsy, other than that pretty much perfect.

I tried the ED9 with both sets of tips and didn't like either. I don't have a whole lot to say about it other than that I couldn't get a good fit, and the treble was obnoxious. Putting on the foam tips from my ATE-S helped with the fit, but the shit treble was still there.
I also like high isolation in my IEMs, and the ED9 have very little of it.
Personally I have no real recommendations on chink shit phantom power. I use a zoom h4n and can recommend that, and the Focusrite Sapphire line is supposed to be pretty good too, but it sounds like those are likely out of your price range.
At the "destitute" price range your best bet is probably something like some used behringer gear from a local used music store/craigslist/ebay.

It is illegal to not give refunds. Gifts and sale items must be refunded if they have major problems.
Your rights as a consumer mean that if a warranty expires but the produce is faulty and the produce failed in a "reasonable amount of time" depending on the product and its use, then you are entitled to a remedy. The seller cannot decline any service to assist you to reach this remedy.
For example, a TV could have a 2 year warranty, but a consumer could say that they expect their TV to last at least 4-5 years. If it develops a fault and the consumer requests the problem to be remedied then the seller must find a way to fix the problem.
A common one in my job is computers, all with 12 months manufacturers warranty. Most people would agree that a computer should last at least 3 years, maybe 4 if they paid good money for it, and so a computer out of warranty must still be repaired, replaced, or refunded (sellers choice) if something was to go wrong.
"Reasonable amount of time" is a bullshit metric and I fucking hate it. If you don't think it's reasonable then if the consumer raises a complaint with the ACCC and they favor the consumer, you get ass raped hard.

I recently bought a new camera both for recording and better quality photography the Fujifilm s4300 and I have to say at long distances this thing is a beast (Especially for the 150 USD price tag). The audio quality sucks terribly but its a small champ with great still images and good focus capabilities. I am still using the Xperia Z for audio, unfortunately due to third party software can cause glitches, the BM-800 is my next upgrade after I get an external DAC. The newest review is the video below.
