Is it bigger than a AA battery?
if it is 18mm diameter, and 650mm long it is a 18650 battery, they are cheap and most of them are of that rating.
I dunno bout that voltage rating though, because lithium cells are typically 3.7V nominal with 4.2V being max. that might be a stacked (4x) NiMH/NiCD cell. So you could theoretically wire up 4 NiCD/NiMH batteries in parallel for the same purpose.
