Got a 3 tb WD external harddrive that out of nowhere just stopped

Got a 3 tb WD external harddrive that out of nowhere just stopped showing up on my computer when I plug it in now.

The light still comes on and I can still hear the hd spinning like normal but it just doesnt show up

I have tried literally everything am at a loss,

any ideas/advice?

I use a pc but i tried plugging it into a mac and a pc (it used to work when plugged into mac as well)

If you're lucky it's a regular hard drive plugged into a USB adapter and you can just put it inside your PC.
