I have tried that and the audio quality was shit compared to TS. I have heard that they are on equal footing as far as audio quality but I don't know how to configure a Mumble server to be non-shit.

this, ran TS server for 5? years and finally caved in and now am running a mumble server on the Rpi2, voice quality is better and echo cancellation required some fiddling but eventually met what I was used to on TS.
