most industrial computers/microcontrollers still run 32-bit
lazy companies that don't want to upgrade, have no need for more than 4 gig ram.

Still better than x86_64.
Because a large portion of the world is completely unaware that for the two most popular instruction set architectures, the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit is more than just more addressable RAM.

but most microcontrollers are 8 and 16-bit, a full 32-bit design is way overcomplicated for lots of control jobs
