This year will be glorious. Amd doesn't even care to compete with nvidia anymore. They have the entire console market that's bigger than pc, firepro in macs, amd gpus in apple laptops, new 14nm tech will find its way into general consumer laptops, tablets, possibly phones. Just damn. Who's hyped for incoming drama and nvidia butthurt/shitslinging/gimping nightmare?
Vega 10 is around 400-440mm2 and will be around 20-30% faster than GTX1080, but 10-20% slower than a 1080Ti that will also be released in a month or two of Vega 10's launch.

14nm means it will run cooler than nvidia hypothetically, or pack some extra uhmph to normalize it with nvidia. I think 75°C under load will be the normal.
