Op if you're still here, don't fucking sli those cards. Save your money, the 770 is still good, do you honestly need to upgrade to sli? The card is 2 gets old man. If you really want to upgrade, sell your card first on eBay or whatever. I've had 3 gtx 770s over the years and messed with sli. I say it's not worth it if you don't plan on liquid cooling them. They get hot as fuck and loud, especially once you overclock them.
So save your money and stick it out till you're absolutely ready to upgrade. If you do plan on upgrading I suggest you do so when you get a better monitor. For 1080p you're still OK.
