I was looking for a new GPS/navigator on amazon, what do you guys recommend? Just got a new car and I need one for the new city i moved into.
Imho:
TomTom for free legal map upgrades forever (Start 50 is pretty good)
Garmin for free illegal map upgrades forever (nüvi series is pretty good)
Android device with OsmAnd
Just use your phone senpai
You can even get offline maps for navigation from Here and even Google Maps supports offline in an area now

anyways, in this day an age an el cheapo smartphone with google maps is more than enough, spending 300+ smackaroos on a dedicated gps system is completely dumb at this point in time

I just want to buy a GPS on amazon and plop it in my car.

CoPilot GPS was ok until the interface turned to shit when updated
