Back in the day we'd carefully trim them between every 10th wire, fold the 10 wire sets against themselves, and use that to make them take up less space for airflow. Anything that helped back then was awesome.

Make sure everything has a unique ID and is properly terminated! Oh and btw, that device doesn't work on the same cable as that other one, oh and that one wants to be at the end of the cable. Still better than IDE though.
