Hey /g/, im asking for your simple opinion. Im on my way to get my CCNA soon
(im at 3rd course right now out of 4).
Will i be able to find a job concerned with networking by simply having the ccna certificate? And before you ask, yes, i am motivated as fuck.
I am also curious about one thing. In cisco courses we only learn about working with THEIR devices, so what happens if i get to work with different manufactured devices? Anyone who has had some experience?

It's not hard to learn other command lines from other companies. What cisco just tries to convey is the fundamentals. Also, do you see other companies making educational tools for their products? You'll be fine, it's like learning C then moving onto c++ or c#.
I see your point. Thanks, you're right. I also have another question, is it easy finding a decent job with only the ccna in your hands?

exactly...not, doing c++/c# has nothing to do with doing C, in the same way cisco's devices have nothing to do with other companies' devices. they might be similar at a glance, but in detail they are two different beasts

Wrong
