Would any of you guys know why my Lenovo DC power jack keeps burning?

The part that connects to the motherboard keeps burning and I've replaced the jack 3 times now with no success. When I replace it everything works fine for about a month and a half to two months then it just burns up.

OP here.

I also forgot to mention that the only way to get the laptop to start charging is by taking the back plate off and removing the battery then putting it back in while it's plugged into the wall.

are you using a Lenovo charger or some cheap knock off

actual Lenovo charger. I even borrowed my roommates charger and battery (we have the same laptop) and neither fixed the problem.

Just the jack? If you havent had motherboard problems yet its probably the plug itself.

I've tried different batteries, chargers, and outlets but none of them seem to be the problem.
