Wonder what happened?
Did the CPU turn off, or did it fry.
>>54460409
It's caused by cigarette smoke, really any smoke can do this as flames always leave shit behind. Which is why jayztwocents is an idiot for recommending people hold burnt candles up the their fans to see where the smoke goes.

If it was an old AMD, it fried.

I ran this AMD Phenom 5 years until I found out HP left a sticker on the CPU from RMA. I needed to go to a local computer store because the heatsink and CPU were molten together.
It still works.

>Worked in a PC repair shop several years ago.
>Customer brought in a machine they used at a wood cutting shop.
>Was literally clogged to the brim with sawdust. Miracle it worked as long as it did. Every fan was literally stopped up.
>Took 2 hours to clean, worked just fine afterwards.
To top it off, it was a ME machine. Have not even seen a ME machine since the early 2000s.
