So now that Microsoft has fucked every Onedrive user in the ass, what alternatives do we have to sync stuff between computers with ease?
>inb4 hurr cloud = NSA
I got free 1TB for 1 year on all my accounts. Maybe you put porn on your OneDrive so they don't want you as a non paying customer anymore.
I use Google Drive, but I use an Android phone, an Chromebook, and Google services for pretty much everything, so it's kind of a shoe in.
In b4 botnet, etc. I don't care.
set up your own storage server

You idiot you should have claimed the 15GB before the time ran out.

Is that owncloud thing you can buy any good ?

>"free" data
>for one year
that's not how data works anon, my data lasts a lot longer than one year. I am not going to use 1 TB of "free" meme-cloud data for one year then move my shit later or be forced to pay.

Syncthing. No Jewish cloud, setup is literally scanning a QR code.

if you are a normal user, you can buy little NAS from Synology for example (other brands work similarily).
That NAS comes with VPN and mobile apps, so you can access your data everywhere.
Installing a calendar or mail client is incredibly simple on these machines..
And if you are a pro, i recommend using some spare server, bind the network with openvpn and configure the apps by hand.

I'm a normal user. Thanks for the info. I don't need one right now but it's handy for the future I guess.
