Oh so it's just swap. Why the fuck do they say "speed up my system" then? Especially since swap off of a USB is slow as fuck.
It's a disk cache (not swap). The point is that people had HDDs with high seek times and having a secondary flash cache could be faster / less taxing on the HDD. But the improvements are minimal. If you want extra speed, get an SSD.
