Someone knows an external HDD that won't fail me?
Currently redownloading my animu/tv shows that I lost since my random seagate in a random external enclosure failed.
doesn't exist, every hardware can fail.
that's why you have backups.
every hdd will fail, it's just a matter of time.
Take backups, use raid.

Try taking it out of the case and putting it in a computer.

It's media you can download, so raid5 or raid6 makes more sense.
If you have content of your own you should at least have one backup copy.

meh for Raid I'd need a NAS, which is not portable. I need to be able take it to friends to watch movies as well.
