What do you guys think about Broadwell-E. From what I've seen on OCN they aren't great overlockers. I mainly use my rig for CPU intensive games like Arma 3 and GTA V. What are the chances that future games will utilize 6-10 cores?

Unless you have the highest video card with 8GB or more and VR your not going to need it.
Like all broadwell types , the broadwell-E is going to be high core low base clock
this is the hightest end which means 4k and high end GPU
So if its just games your wasting your time honestly But if you just want it and have the money then okay. but its mainly for people that play games and use as sever or game making 3d work maybe 4k movie making etc

I'm thinking about building a PC using a broadwell e CPU, I'm saving currently, I want to believe Zen will be amazing, and I'll reach my savings goal probably close to the end of the year, so if Zen turns out to be shit I will likely get an unlocked i5
I don't think games are going to be optimised for many cores any time soon

Geimus won't be using 10 cores for at least 4 years unless VR does some real shonky shit.
If you're into that video making stuff and just hate money then you could look into it.
