OSMAnd~ is shit (The app, not the maps). Maps.google.com works fine through Firefox if I ever need it.
I used to rice my desktop with Nova and be ultra-minimalistic. I decided I wanted all my apps on my desktop, to hell with opening the apps drawer.

Well, as of now, cm13 is pretty stable for me. I'd recommend it. About benefits, well, customization. Also, no need to use the tri-state button to set notification on priority. Camera seems a little better.

I'm loving it. Had several chinkshit phones before it and this is the first one I've had where they haven't cut any corners to lower the price. The only thing that might turn you away from buying it is the rear camera, if it's important to you. The photos it takes look like they were painted using water colours when zoomed in, especially in low light conditions. It seems to be a software issue as the sensor itself looks good on paper and the issue is a constant among other Xiaomi models I've seen.
I'm using galaxy 5 stock.
Save me from this hell. What's a fast, simple, stable thing to use in its place?

One of, if not the best, 6.0 ROMs. Based on cm, it adds a handful of features, but they all are fucking polished. I'd use Exodus of it had brightness regulation by sliding status bar tho, it's the smoothest rom for g2 from what I gathered. All the other ROMs either had some retarded bugs or were slow, or didn't the features I need. 6.0 ROMs are generally better than 5.1 ones with one exception - sometimes when you turn airplane mode on and off the modem starts working kind of independently - if you set network mode to LTE only for example, it won't care

I literally just switched to Nova after finally getting sick of Google Now Launcher and its complete lack of customisability. I'm changing how I use Android, all the shitty meme apps have been uninstalled, I'm gonna try more non-Google apps if I think their features might suit me more, and I've unroooted because I'm sick of how many apps don't work on rooted phones now.
Also I'm gonna buy a chinkphone later this year, fuck paying this much for a phone again. It's good but it's just not worth it.

I'm not sure why it happened, but MKV videos I was able to play normally suddenly began to lag pretty badly. It started playing videos normally again without me doing anything after like 20 minutes but I'm worried about what happened since such a thing had never happened before. Any reason the lagging could have happened? HW decoded MP4 videos never lagged, by the way.

Has it gotten better (customizability)? I hated the UI choices in 5.0 and beyond but last I seen there wasn't a sure fire way to make permanent changes to the UI.
