basically he thinks Gentoo should be called Gentoo GNU/Linux despite the fact that Gentoo (the project, not the Linux distro) serves both GNU/Linux, Linux, and FreeBSD variants. He seemed to misunderstand what Gentoo actually is and why it is not like any other distro, so after explaining that, we came to the conclusion that Gentoo is neither GNU or FreeBSD, and is more of a toolkit to produce your own OS.
