Mac case is pretty damn silent, There's only 3 fans in the thing and it still stays relatively cool. CPU being in the mid 30's with a few browser windows open.

One of the reasons for this is going to sound really stupid.
I just got a new job, and instead of it paying commission, its hourly. So now i can save up money without having to live off of 200 dollar pay checks (I'm 18, and i pay for almost everything i do, save for food)
The second reason is i need a car. So if i sell my PC for a thousand, and buy a used (or new) mac mini (and some display adapters), i can still have an extra few hundred to save up.
Also I have never really owned a mac and I'm getting really tired of windows.

I often see this being posted here but i'm always too busy to reply. I'd like to say that this is a master piece of interior design. Often times interior designers are face with the dilemma of finding a balance between
functionality, comfort, and aesthetics. It's often refereed to as the Miller Triangle. This room is the perfect execution of all of this elements. It is both a fully functioning work desk with many creature comforts and
aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The warm lighting both unifies the room with it's warm inviting glow but it is also strategically chosen to not be hard on the vision as bright cold lighting would undoubtedly lead to
fatigue. In keeping with unity he's chosen various articles and furnishings in a dark shade that is strikingly professional but those in the know will note that the various items on the desk aren't for business but for
pleasure. That is key in the comfort department as the daily wager must keep himself entertained while preforming his duties. A chair in essence is a comfort item but in this set up it serves a dual purpose. While
the individual sits all the logos fade from view which allows it to become an executive chair that an on looking coworker will be none the wiser to it's gaming background. Speakers could make or break a room but
in this case they go noticed as they subtly blend with into the background like a chameleon. No cables are to be seen and the proximity to the monitor melds them into the work environment as another tool. There

I came across this Panasonic while trying to find a Sony PVM 1271. Similar aesthetic.
The Sony CVM 1271 has almost the same exterior, but was designed for security monitors and doesn't have decent inputs. The PVM version though has RGB and other retro game hipster bullshit that people like.

There's never an easy solution to this. Technically my monitors have speakers so using the WiiU and XBox One via HDMI works fine enough, but I actually have a 3.5mm cable going from the headphone out on my monitor to a headphone splitter on the line in on my speaker amp, the other input of which is the headphone out on my other monitor which acts as PC audio.
If I want to use my headphones for both I have another kind of splitter(pic related) that works to make my headphones have two inputs. This works fine plugging into my WiiU game pad, XBOne controller, or laptop with my desktop, but has the potential to create ground loop interference when using something like my guitar amp. There are solutions for getting around this but I haven't really explored them yet.
For my standard definition consoles I actually have an interesting solution there to allow me to listen to those with my headphones as well. I just split off the RCA audio, convert it to a 3.5mm jack, and then that's seated at the base of the shelf so I can plug in a 3.5mm extension(with a volume knob) to go to my headphones.

I mean, there is HDMI to DVI cables. If you really wanted to do it and never have to fuck with switching out cables, you could have your PC and WiiU go into an HDMI switch box and then have that going to one monitor with an HDMI to DVI cable. Depending on the resolution/refresh rate of your monitor, HDMI could be a bottleneck so if you do have a particularly high res monitor or 144Hz, I would say just hook up to the second display. I don't know exactly what the bandwidth limitation of HDMI is but that info is out there. If your monitors are normy 1080p 60Hz, there will be no describable difference.
