Hey I have a chance to score a server with 4 e5-2607s in it and in doing my research I can't find much that shows its rendering performance so I can quantify how well this would do in adobe premier and for virtual machines.
How does it compare to other Sandy bridge cpus like the e5-2607 and desktop cpus like a 5930k?
Whoops meant to say 4 e5-4607s
Bumping because I can't find Jack not even cinebench benchmarks for this thing

Per-thread is probably around half that of the 5930k, but you'd have four times as many cores, so maybe up to twice the overall performance in heavily multithreaded tasks.

I would not expect it to do anything graphical well

Only paying $700 for it with perc raid controller and 256gb of ram so I think for what I'm paying it's worth it for editing were gonna slap a couple gtx690s modded to be quadro k5000s in it so for a grand it's gonna beat a gaming machine in adobe premier

I've looked all that over and hasn't given me much to think about performance wise just gives me idea of temps and expected thread count.
